As a WesleyLife Community for Healthy Living, The Village is a place for you to find purposeful ways to make the most of each day. For decades, our community has been home to residents who participate in their neighborhood and the greater Indianola community.
The Village’s full continuum of care and unique relationship with Simpson College are just the tip of the iceberg of our approach to senior living in Indianola that focuses on possibilities, not limitations.
In the blog post, you will learn about everything that The Village has to offer.
Enjoy this short video that highlights the best parts of life at The Village and senior living in Indianola:
Life at The Village
When we say generations have found a happy home at The Village, we mean it. It’s not uncommon to greet new residents whose parents or grandparents once lived in The Village. We also have several team members who have been with The Village for more than two decades, and others who are current residents.
Our approach to community living is designed to celebrate mind, body, and spirit. We use this approach in all levels of living, including:
- Independent Living: In independent living, residents live like they would outside The Village, but with the advantage of a maintenance-free lifestyle and added convenience.
- Assisted Living: Assisted living is essentially independent living, but with access to additional support when needed.
- Memory Support: Memory care at The Village is person-centric and focused on optimizing day-to-day life. Your loved one will benefit from attentive support 24/7.
- Long-Term Care; Long-term care provides a team of skilled caregivers and medical professionals who treat residents like they are family.
- Short-Term Rehabilitation: Short-term rehab provides services to both residents and those outside of our communities. This level of care bridges the gap between a hospital stay and a patient's return home.
Regardless of the level of living you choose, life at The Village is the start of an exciting new chapter.
