We are accustomed to greeting loved ones whose grandparents and parents were residents right here in our community. Team members are also part of our history, with several having been with us for more than 20 years and some who are now residents. What sets us apart?

The Village’s beautiful, walkable acres are tucked into a quiet neighborhood near Simpson College in Indianola, just south of the Des Moines metropolitan area. Through its relationship with the highly regarded Simpson, the community’s residents can access an array of sporting events, classes, cultural and creative arts, and amenities including tennis and pickleball courts. Residents of The Village live vibrant, active lives and support the greater community in a number of ways, and our team members routinely create for our residents opportunities to pursue joy in all they do. Our relationship with Simpson College is unique and runs deeply through our community. The college is just a two-block walk away, and residents can audit classes at no charge. They use the college's tennis courts and appreciate music performances by vocal and instrumental artists and ensembles. Plus, many retired professors and their spouses make The Village their home.
How much does it cost?
The Village provides many lifestyle options and floor plans to choose from! Our entry-fee model requires a down payment, which helps us keep your monthly fee lower. Your entry fee will change based on your needs and floor plan choice.

Independent Living
Independent living apartments range in size from 500 sq ft. to over 1,650 sq. ft. Entry-fees start $89,900, with at least a 50% refund.
Independent living townhomes range in size from 1,500 sq ft. to over 4,000 sq. ft. Entry-fees start at $189,900, with at least a 50% refund.
Assisted Living
Assisted living apartments range in size from 455 sq ft. to over 670 sq. ft. Prices start at $4,851 per month.
Pricing is dependent on the apartment or townhome selected. Our team members are eager to help you find a floor plan that suits your needs and budget.
