JOHNSTON, Iowa – An aggressive growth strategy resulting in expansion into new markets has prompted WesleyLife, one of the region’s largest and most comprehensive not-for-profit providers of health and well-being services for older adults, to add a Chief Marketing Officer to its senior leadership team.
Amy Hutchins joins WesleyLife on Monday, May 3, as CMO for WesleyLife. In this newly created role, Hutchins will provide senior leadership, strategic direction, and ongoing support for marketing, sales, branding, and communications for WesleyLife. She will oversee the planning, development, and execution of WesleyLife’s marketing and sales initiatives for all services, and will share responsibility in achieving outcomes relative to current services and delivering marketing and sales strategies that support organizational growth.
Hutchins, of Des Moines, brings more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience to the position, having served a variety of industries in a number of leadership capacities, including work with Fortune 500 companies such as Canon, Miller Electric Mfg., and Endo Pharmaceuticals. In 2017, she founded the Des Moines-based MarketLogic, driving new-business growth through strategic planning efforts in marketing and sales development. She also held senior roles with Two Rivers Marketing and ITAGroup.
Hutchins holds an undergraduate degree from Marquette University and an MBA from Drake University.
“This addition of a proven sales and marketing leader of Amy’s caliber is an indication of our outlook on the future as we continue to broaden our message of health and well-being throughout existing and new markets,” Rob Kretzinger, CEO of WesleyLife, said. “We’re serving greater numbers of individuals than ever before, and Amy’s extensive leadership experience and passion for our mission will keep us well-poised to enhance our impact.”
Hutchins will be based in WesleyLife’s corporate offices in Johnston.
