A big WesleyLife welcome to Taylor Owen, who joined us last week as Nurse Liaison for WellSpire. Taylor will be based in DeWitt, Iowa, and will spend her time in the Quad Cities, communicating with care coordinators and potential clients and their families about the quality care and services we offer in the eastern Iowa/western Illinois market.
Taylor, who grew up primarily in DeWitt, comes to us from the Centers for Digestive Health in Bettendorf. "I was ready for a new challenge and was ready to combine my patient-care skills with my love for older adults and people in general!" Taylor says. "I can't wait to communicate the WellSpire message to people who may not be aware of the range and breadth of services we provide."
Taylor earned her bachelor's degree in nursing from St. Ambrose University. She and her husband are the proud parents of Brooks, age 5 months, and in their "spare" time, they help Taylor's dad with his farming operation near DeWitt. "We care for 5,000 pigs -- nope, not kidding about that number!" she says with a laugh.
