A big “thank you” to Hy-Vee, an important donor to WesleyLife Meals on Wheels, for arranging for professional racing drivers Christian Lundgaard and David Malukas to deliver meals to our Meals on Wheels clients today in advance of the upcoming Hy-Vee IndyCar Race Weekend!
The drivers enjoyed visiting the Meals on Wheels campus and hydroponic farm, and clients enjoyed visiting with the drivers and receiving special themed gifts from Hy-Vee. We appreciate the drivers’ time today — and are grateful, as always, for Hy-Vee’s partnership in combating food insecurity in the Des Moines area.
