Hello, everyone. I hope you are well on this Veterans Day!
Having joined the Army many years ago, I know how special and important Veterans Day is to me. I would like to take time today to pay tribute to all of our WesleyLife family veterans.
Any day is a good day to thank a veteran for his or her service, but it’s particularly important to do so on November 11. Initially called Armistice Day, Veterans Day was meant to celebrate world peace and the end of World War I. It has evolved over the years into a national holiday that honors current and former members of the United States Armed Forces.
It can be tough to find adequate ways and words to say "thank you" for a veteran's service, given everything veterans have sacrificed for our freedom, liberty, and safety and for what they mean to our country. But, dear Veterans, we want to take adequate time to honor you today for all that you have done on our behalf.
You have taken up arms to serve and protect this great nation and all that it stands for. You are serving or have served while fully understanding the obligations and sacrifices you are expected to make during peace and during war. Some may never fully understand what you were required to do or how you were able to do it. Most will never fully appreciate or understand the depth of your scars.
But today, we want to offer you our dearest and most sincere thanks for all that you have done. We recognize you and your humility, and we send you our heartfelt appreciation with blessings and gratitude. We want you to know that you are acknowledged, honored, and remembered for all that you have done for us, our flag, and this great nation.
Thank you and happy Veterans Day from all of WesleyLife. You have made us stronger as an organization, and we are honored that you are here.
