Easter Seals of Iowa Recognizes Wesley Acres for Inclusion accent

August 21, 2021 | By

Wesley Acres, WesleyLife's Community for Healthy Living in Des Moines, works with Easter Seals to employ individuals with special needs to provide them with real-world experience with the hope of helping them find jobs, either with WesleyLife or elsewhere. Sam also works with the Des Moines school district to help train and prepare young people with barriers to traditional employment.

"Easter Seals is impressed with how we train and treat the individuals who work for us, and we're honored to have been chosen for the award," Sam says. "It's part of our story that probably flies under the radar!"

Not anymore, Sam! Congratulations to you and your department, and a note of gratitude to Easter Seals Iowa & Camp Sunnyside for the recognition.
